PRIVACY POLICY

This policy describes how personal data is processed in connection with smashtonestudio.com, quote requests and the SmashTone Studio newsletter.

Quote requests

The form may collect: first and last name, artist or band name, email address, selected service (mixing, mastering, bundle, audit or coaching), number of tracks, optional link to your files, message, page language, page of origin and technical anti-spam signals.

This information is used to answer your request, review your project, prepare a quote and follow up on it. Processing is based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

Required fields are marked in the form. Without them, your request may not be processed.

Retention: requests that do not lead to a project are kept for 3 years after the last contact. Client data is kept for the duration of the business relationship plus 3 years, and invoices for 10 years as required by French accounting law.

Tools used for quotes

• Hostinger: website hosting.

• Make: automated transfer of your request.

• Brevo: notification email and “Quotes” contact list.

• Airtable: prospect and client follow-up.

A quote request never subscribes you to the newsletter.

Newsletter

Subscribing collects your email address so SmashTone Studio can send you its newsletter. Processing is based on your consent. The newsletter is managed with Brevo, using double opt-in (a confirmation email validates your subscription) and Cloudflare Turnstile spam protection.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Subscribing is separate from any quote request.

Retention: until you unsubscribe. Addresses inactive for 3 years are deleted.

Audio player

The audio player on this site is provided by Elfsight. Loading it may send technical data (IP address, browser type) to this provider so the player can be displayed.

Cookies

This site uses no analytics tools and no advertising cookies. Only technical cookies needed for the site to work, for spam protection and for embedded content may be set.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers (including Airtable, Make and Cloudflare) may process data outside the EU, particularly in the United States. These transfers rely on the safeguards offered by these providers: European Commission standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data and, where applicable, to object. For the newsletter, you can withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, write to contact@smashtonestudio.com stating the right concerned. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) through its online complaint service.
